Our Mission

The Anacaona Youth Enrichment Program, established in 2010 and run by the Haitian Woman Association of Connecticut, is a year-long, culturally diverse initiative for youth and their families in Fairfield County. It offers a variety of summer activities, including arts, music, sciences, and sports, along with field trips and partnerships with local institutions. Children in the program have opportunities to perform in theatrical productions and festivals, notably in a musical about the Haitian Revolution. The program also emphasizes academic support and family-oriented activities, aiming to nurture and support each child's potential.
